Donald Joseph Qualls better known as the DJ Qualls stage title DJ Qualls was born in the USA. He is an actor, producer and model. In the years since he gained fame for his part in Road Trip, he's appeared in more than 20 films. This includes The New Guy Hustle & Flow, The Core and The New Guy Hustle & Flow. Alongside his role on Road Trip he has played in 22 different TV shows like Breaking Bad Supernatural Srubs Lost Law & Order etc. Qualls who was diagnosed at the age of 14 with Hodgkin lymphoma, is a resilient fighter. It was remissioned 2 years after the diagnosis. His body was badly affected by the treatment and development slowed down. After he began performing, financial stability was the goal. He had experienced poverty in his childhood. He said in an interview that he stated that if I don't achieve financial stability or I find myself feeling out of control in the world, I'll feel miserable. The man also talks about his early years to help him stay motivated. DJ states "Cruelty breaks the heart of my soul." DJ's dream role would be to become a father on reel as well as in reality. However, he does admit that most directors do not choose him for these kinds of characters. He'd like to be father one day so he can devote more time to his son and less to his career.
